Provenance
This guitar is in beautiful condition. I never toured with it, and played it only at home, in some recording sessions, and for composition. I asked Eric Sahlin to build this for me in a traditional style, in contrast to the 1990 lattice-braced top he made for me. This 1997 spruce features his ‘twist neck’ innovation, and rich chocolate Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and very fine inlay work. The tone quality is lush with a startling deep bass response.
